Automotive Transient Voltage Suppressor Diode
Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) is an efficient circuit protection device designed specifically for automotive electronic environments. It has passed AEC-Q101 automotive certification and its core function is to respond to and suppress transient overvoltages such as electrostatic discharge (ESD), load drops, and surges in the circuit within nanoseconds, clamp the voltage within a safe range, and protect sensitive chips and modules in the vehicle.

Features:
1. Strict vehicle certification
Complies with AEC-Q101 standards and supports PPAP production part approval process.
Passed automotive specific tests such as ISO 7637-2 (Transient Conducted Immunity of Automotive Electronics), ISO 16750-2 (Load Drop), IEC 61000-4-2/4-5 (ESD and Surge).
2. Ultra fast response speed
The typical response time is less than 1ns, much faster than traditional protective components such as varistors and fuses.
3. Wide temperature range and high reliability
Working temperature -55 ℃~+175 ℃, suitable for high temperature environments such as engine compartments.
No aging effect, able to withstand multiple surge impacts, long lifespan, high stability.
4. High power and low clamping
The peak pulse power is 200W~12kW, and the peak current can reach several hundred amperes.
Low clamping voltage provides precise protection for backend components.
5. Packaging and Environmental Protection
    Mainstream packaging: SOD-123FL, DO-214AA (SMB), DO-215AB (SMC), DO-218, etc.
Lead free, halogen-free, compliant with RoHS and UL 94 V-0 flame retardant standards.

Applications:
1. Vehicle power supply system
12V/24V/48V power input, cigarette lighter, USB, OBD interface: suppresses sudden load drops and external overvoltage.
DC-DC converters, on-board chargers (OBC): protect power levels and control circuits.
2. Automotive communication bus
CAN/LIN/Ethernet interface: ESD and surge protection to ensure data stability.
3. Core of New Energy Vehicles
BMS battery management system: protects voltage sampling, sensors, and communication links.
Motor controller and inverter (IGBT/SiC MOSFET): suppress switch spikes and gate overvoltage.
4. Vehicle body and intelligent driving
ECU, BCM, ADAS sensors, cameras, radar: ESD and electrical overstress (EOS) protection.
LED headlights, instrument panel, central control: overvoltage and surge protection.
