Power Inductor
Power inductor is a passive electronic component that can withstand high currents and is mainly used in power circuits. The core principle is electromagnetic induction, which stores energy in a magnetic field when passing current, and achieves core functions such as energy storage, filtering, voltage reduction, current limiting, and anti-interference by blocking the instantaneous changes in current (inductive impedance). It is an essential key component in circuits such as DC-DC converters and switching power supplies.

1. High current and high saturation: The core advantage is that it can prevent significant magnetic saturation under high current, ensuring circuit stability.
2. Low loss (low DCR): Low DC resistance, minimal heat generation, and high energy conversion efficiency.
3. Excellent frequency characteristics: optimized for switching frequency, able to maintain stable inductance values at high frequencies.
4. Magnetic shielding (mainstream): It is mostly a closed magnetic circuit structure with small magnetic leakage, which can effectively reduce EMI (electromagnetic interference) and minimize the impact on surrounding circuits.
5. High reliability: high temperature resistance (usually -40 ℃~125 ℃), vibration resistance, and adaptability to harsh working environments.
6. Miniaturization: With the advancement of materials and processes, it continues to develop towards small size, thin thickness, and high power density.
